Winchester Ballistic Silvertip® Rifle Ammunition is the ballistic champ in Winchester's line. The sharp polymer tips, sleek nose profles and boattails combine to minimize drag. Compare the 150-grain .30-06 Ballistic Silvertip with the 150-grain Power-Point, both zeroed at 200 yards. The Ballistic Silvertip drops 21.5 inches and drifts 13 inches at 400 yards. The Power-Point falls 25.5 inches and is deflected 21 inches. We begin to see an appreciable difference due to B.C. At 500 yards, this difference only grows. The Ballistic Silvertip might be your bullet for shooting beyond 200 yards.
