As part of our American Small Batch series, the Agent Scully is designed to imitate a sculpin or bottom feeder. The fly is tied mostly for trout, combining rabbit stripes and simi seal to form a balanced-action fly with the perfect sink rate. The Agent Scully also incorporates a deer hair and laser dub combo on the head to mimic sculpin pectoral fins and helps keep the head shape in the water. This bulky head really drives the action towards the rear of the fly. The Agent Scully can be used with sink tips, full sink or float depending on the depth and structures you’re fishing. The truth is out there.
