Originally founded by the Hudson’s Bay Company in 1825 with the establishment of Fort Colville near the Kettle Falls fur trading site.

Colville arose as a result of competing British and American claims to the Pacific Northwest of North American. You can see why if you go out around here. With more than its fair share of gorgeous mountain peaks and waterfalls, Colville is a prime place to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

Our staff has the regional experience and the local knowledge to help you enjoy this area. Get outfitted at North 40 with all your work and play needs.
