Having an extended rear taper, a long powerful mid-section, and a soft-landing front taper allows for anglers, pro or not, to easily cast long distances. We’ve found that this 57-foot taper profile strikes a balance between line control, accuracy, and loop stability. The combination of these three characteristics is critical in a long-distance dry fly line.
