TRADITIONAL INTEGRATED LONG BELLY SPEY LINE
Proudly made in the U.S.A, the Ballistic Vector XL is designed for the more traditional spey caster. This long belly line is based off our popular Vector Spey Line featuring a smooth coated powerful line with consistent layout performance, even during longer casts. With big rods, big rivers and long casts in mind, we set out to create a well-balanced floating line for throwing small to midsize flies that has excellent mendability.
A PROVEN TAPER PROFILE
The Ballistic Vector XL builds off Master Casting Instructor Lee Davisons’ original Vector Spey Line, adding all the modern amenities we’ve come to appreciate in a high-end fly line:
Slickness Integrated: Inside and out, slick technology is integrated in the fly line and increases casting efficiency, sheds algae, and adds to the durability and longevity.
Laser I.D.: Laser printed identification on the tip lets you distinguish what fly line you’re throwing at a glance, for those who hit the water with multiple spools of fly line.
Welded Loops: Having a welded loop on both ends of a fly line makes it easier to attached backing and leaders with a loop-to-loop connection.
