The Bayer CyLence Pour-On Insecticide (6 pt) is a ready-to-use topical solution designed to control horn flies, face flies, and both biting and sucking lice on beef and dairy cattle, including lactating cows. Its active ingredient, 1% cyfluthrin, is a synthetic pyrethroid known for its efficacy.
Key Features
- Application: Apply directly along the top of the back and head of the animal.
- Dosage:
- Calves under 400 lbs: 4 mL for flies; 8 mL for lice.
- Cattle 400–800 lbs: 8 mL for flies; 16 mL for lice.
- Cattle over 800 lbs: 12 mL for flies; 24 mL for lice.
- Treatment Interval: Repeat as needed, but not more than once every 3 weeks.
- Withdrawal Times: No meat or milk withdrawal required.
- Usage: Suitable for cattle of all ages and sizes; can be used year-round.
- Application Tools: An applicator gun may be used with the 6 pt size and is sold separately.
