The Alpha vane by Bohning is a design that combines stealth, speed and torque. The vane is made in Bohning's AR1250 material which is the stiffest and quietest they produce. The vane profile has an advanced Torque Apex, which is the position on the vane providing peak rotational torque, combined with a gradual taper to the tail of the vane which creates the optimal balance of spin and stealth. At the rear of the cane, you will see a contoured tail which minimizes vane flutter. Less vane flutter reduces noise and helps retain speed. The low profile allows clearance on even the tighest set-ups.

Bohning's AR1250 material is a stiffer material that allows for fast, ultra-quiet flight over longer distances. The stiffer material also provides maximum speeds when fletched at a 1 degree offset, while staying silent. Bohning's AR1250 is also their lightest material.
