Rene Harrop's CDC Biot Emerger - BWO

Here's a fishing maxim we just made up: "When the fish bulge, drop an emerger." Okay, we didn't make that up, but fishing this emerger pattern can be highly productive especially if you see the fish "bulging" under the water surface--their mouths don't break because they are eating bugs before they are all the way on the top. Emerging nymphs are a trout delicatessen who cruise like finned-out submarines looking to pick off the hapless nymphs just after their wings burst forth, but before they can fully pierce the surface.
