Chapin 80 lb poly SureSpread salt and ice melt spreader is commercial-grade and perfect for plow and snow removal companies or a residential driveway. The 80 lb poly hopper is rust and weather resistant. With a rugged powder-coated steel frame, solid steel linkage, T-shaped handle with rubber hand grips, full gate control and aggressive toothed auger, it's the full package. It also comes with a rain/snow cover to protect the product during snowy or rainy weather. Adjust the front and side baffles so you're not spreading product where it's not needed. Tough 12" pneumatic tires handle uneven winter ground. This unit is not recommended for use with sand or sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime or lime powders.
