Dextrose 50% Solution is intended for use as an aid in treating uncomplicated primary ketosis in beef and dairy cattle. This injectable solution provides a rapid source of energy to help restore blood glucose levels and support recovery.

Dextrose • H2O: 50% w/v
Water for injection: q.s.
Dosage and Administration
Administer intravenously only.
The usual dosage is 50 mL per 100 lbs of body weight. Treatment may be repeated in 8 to 10 hours or on successive days if necessary, based on the animal's condition and veterinary recommendation.
