The Red Cored Chantenay Carrot seeds will grow into carrots with a thick flesh rich in color and sweetness. Instructions

In full sun and well-drained soil, sow seeds. Cover the seeds firmly with soil. For fresh carrots all season, plant every three weeks until 75 days before the first frost.

Suggestions

Too much water can cause carrots to crack. They should be kept weeded (a clean mulch can reduce this job). Also, lightly place soil over exposed roots to prevent cracking.
