Made in America in small batches, Fly Project Top Shelf Backing is a unique blend of what we love about Dacron; soft and consistent with the strength and micro diameter of gel spun lines. In fact, it's actually 20% thinner and 3x stronger than 20lb Dacron. 65lb may seem overkill, but if you could have one line that does it all, why not?
