This 500 S&W FTX ammo by Hornady is perfect for hunting or self-defense out of either your handgun or rifle chambered in 500 S&W Magnum. The patented FTX bullet is designed for rapid expansion in soft tissue. Additionally, the polymer filled cavity is designed to prevent bullet failure due to clogging the JHP projectile. Upon impact, the polymer tip pushes into the center of the hollow point forcing massive expansion.
