This forged, extra strong Mustad Pike Hook is developed for ice fishing, where the hook/bait is presented vertically. Designed to hold whole dead bait such as roach, perch or small Herring. The most common way to ice fish is by using Tip-ups, which is a device used to suspend live or frozen bait at a set depth. When the fish takes the bait a flag tips up to signal the angler.
