North 40 Cattle Mineral 12-6+ is designed to be fed to beef and dairy cattle in selenium-deficient areas. It is especially recommended when the ration contains grass forages or grass-grain mixtures and when cattle are on range or pasture. North 40 Cattle Mineral 12-6+ contains organic copper, manganese, and zinc for improved bioavailability.
North 40 Cattle Mineral 12-6+ may be fed either free choice or mixed with other feed. When feeding free choice, a covered mineral feeder is recommended to protect the mineral from the weather.
Consumption will vary with the type of ration being fed and the individual appetites of animals. With most feeding conditions consumption should be approximately 2 to 3 ounces per head daily. Free choice salt should be available in a separate feeder when feeding this product. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
