- When To Apply: For maximum weed-killing outcomes, apply this product when weeds are small and actively growing in the spring or fall months. For large and smooth crabgrass, use in the spring before crabgrass is 4 inches tall or when it's first noticeable in the lawn
- How Often To Apply: Due to its powerful nature, customers are limited to only two broad applications per year. However, certain hard-to-kill weeds or dense populations may need to be spot treated in 21 days
- Environment: kindly ask that customers do their part to protect the environment by preventing runoff into nearby storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters and surface waters as this herbicide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. In addition, rinsing application equipment over the treated area will help avoid further runoff into water bodies or drainage system
First, determine the type of sprayer you're using. Then, refer to "Mixing Instructions" to look up the proper amount of product to add to the sprayer based on the type of sprayer you're using and the type of grass you're spraying. Next, add product to a Tank Sprayer or Ortho Dial-N-Spray along with water if indicated. Finally, turn the dial on the Dial-N-Spray to the correct setting (if using). Then, apply at the correct time and avoid spraying as a fine mist, which can cause injury to other plants. The maximum application rate is 6.0 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per application and no more than 2 treatments per year. Remember: A little goes a long way with this herbicide. More is not better, as over-application or rates above those recommended on this label can cause grass injury.

This will help to avoid damage to the lawn, as well as spray drift, drip, mist or splash at the application site, which could harm desirable broadleaf plants and surrounding ecosystems.
This container is nonrefillable. When empty, place bottles in trash or thoroughly rinse and recycle when possible. If the container is not completely empty, call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Please, never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
Although people and pets should remain out of the application area during treatment, they may safely reenter once the area has dried. Better yet, this weed killer for grass becomes rainproof in only 1 hour, so you can get back to enjoying your yard in no time.
To ensure the absolute best results, delay mowing 2 days before and do not mow until 2 days after the application of this product. Taking this extra precaution will enhance the effectiveness of the spray and keep harmful ingredients off your lawn equipment.

Bear in mind that applications made to Bermudagrass may result in temporary discoloration, but, as long as the product is applied according to instructions, a full recovery can be expected!
- For use on Bentgrass, hybrid bermudagrass, centipedegrass and. St. Augustinegrass (excluding Floatam), measure 1.5 fl. oz. (3 TBs.) into 1 gal of water for application with a Tank Sprayer covering 500 sq. ft.
- For application with an Ortho Dial-N-Spray jar on Bentgrass, hybrid bermudagrass, centipedegrass and St. Augustinegrass (excluding Floratam), add 3.0 fl. oz. (6 Tbs.) into sprayer jar for each 1,000 sq. ft. Turn the dial to the 1.5 oz. setting. Do not add water to jar
- For use on Kentucky bluegrass, bahiagrass, common bermudagrass, fescues, perennial ryegrass and zoysiagrass, add 3.0 fl. oz. (6 Tbs.) into1 gallon of water for application over 500 sq. ft. For application with the Ortho Dial-N-Spray bottle, add 6.0 fl. oz. into sprayer jar for each 1,000 sq. ft. Do not add water to jar. Set dial at 2.5 oz.
