The magnet hangs on the axle allowing it to swing. When coming in contact with a rock, clod or high spot the debris will not be brushed off. The handle is detachable so the product can be broken down for easy transportation to and from the job. The wooden handle prevents possibility of electrocution when in contact with electricity on the job-site, shop or home. The aluminum ferrule prevents damage to the wooden handle.
