Patrick Kilby's Ground Beetle

Most fly anglers already have small beetles in their fly boxes (and if they don't, they probably should). But you don’t' often see beetle flies in the larger sizes even though these larger bugs are abundant along most river banks.Patrick Kilby's Ground Beetle features an iridescent underbody, rubber legs and a foam sighter...but it also has a beautiful shell back that has been protected with a flexible UV coating for durability. Beetles make wonderful searching bugs if you don't know what is hatching.
