Rene Harrop developed this fly as his go to adult midge pattern. It has CDC wings and a biot body. Midge patterns should not be over dressed because they are sparse as an adult and the key is to have the hackle fibers just touching the water. Make sure to have some dry fly powder when fishing this midge to keep the spikey hackle fibers just touching the water.
