Core to the SemperFlash Colorado Mix - Blue Red Purple (BRP) blends is a unique tinsel with colors that change horizontally on each single strand. These special blends bring a lot to tying with each single strand having multiple colors built into it. Semperfli manufactured these tinsels after finding most tinsels were tied in half, meaning lots of the tinsel in the center was unuseable and the packaging technique limits tinsel length. This is why SemperFlash Colorado Mix (BRP) is uniquely packaged in 10” / 25cm long hanks tied at the top rather than center, meaning you can produce really long wings on flies for saltwater or large predators. There are 300 strands of flash in each pack, you can tie flies from tiny chironomid/buzzerz to huge Tarpon or Muskie flies.
