Find In StoreTo achieve big results, you may need to downsize. The Sight Cast Longhorn Crab is particularly effective for sight fishing finicky fish in shallow water. It features plenty of enticing movements that stand out when other fly patterns are being ignored.
When stationary, the hackle at the rear of the fly flares out, resembling a defensive crab. However, when retrieved using short, successive strips, the fly mimics the motion of a fleeing shrimp.
This versatile fly has a track record of success in both shallow flats and backwater marshes.
