Smith + Rogue Cattleman 50/50 Western Hat

The Committee teamed up with Cofer Hat Company to create “small batch” western hats. Each hat is handmade from start to finish using a felt composed of 50% beaver fur and 50% rabbit fur. The high content of beaver makes for a high-quality hat. Beaver felt is naturally water repellent due to being sourced from the underfur of a semi aquatic animal. Having this water repelling trait allows for it to hold up exceptionally well against weather and sweat making it last much longer than a lesser quality felt. Beaver felts are more easily cleaned of dirt and grime and are considerably more durable than other furs. Even when you wear your beaver felt hat to death, it can be reworked and reshaped many times, allowing it to live many lives. The lighter weight felt was chosen for a more comfortable fit with the pliability allowing the hat to form better to your head. 

Available in two colors - black & granite, two styles - The Walker & The Cattleman and ranging from sizes 7 1/8 - 7 5/8.
