Steve never knew what was being said at the dinner table as Spanish was the only language allowed. One night he answered one of Luciano’s questions with, “No se, pero La Manzana es roja.” He earned the name, “La Manzana.”
Argentina is well known for their leather goods, the people on the trip bought belts from craftsmen on the streets in Buenos Aires. More than a dozen years later the team asked all the fellas to send us their belts to the Smith and Rogue lab, and they were re-created here in the USA.
