Smith + Rogue Men's Pisco Midlayer Hoodie
Peruvian Alpaca Lined with Pima Cotton, Now Machine Washable
When we promised a machine washable version of the Pisco last season, we werent lying.
The Pisco Midlayer (named after the Pisco Sour, Peru's national drink) is made of 85% Baby Alpaca, 15% Nylon with a 100% Pima Cotton liner. Alpaca wool is an amazing fiber that we source from one of the largest alpaca ranches in the world with over 5,000 years of experience in processing and developing this special material.
Alpaca wool, a natural fiber, has many advantages over other synthetic materials. It is insulates while allowing for superior breathability, which means the heat stays in and the moisture goes out. If caught in a squall, the alpaca wool will keep you warm even when wet. Don't worry about getting to close to the campfire on this chilly nights, this sweatshirt is naturally flame resistant. And it is even warmer than sheep's wool by up to 30%.
