A Yooper (noun) is a native or inhabitant of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This design was the brainchild of a railroad engineer, who needed a way to not only keep his hat in heavy wind, but also to keep his ears warm. The Yooper cap has an external hinged ear band (80% Wool - 20% Nylon), front lace up, and a 3" inner ear band, and quilt lining. Made in Canada
Original Canvas is made from hemp fibers, organic cotton, and poly fibers to bring ultimate strength and durability to this canvas. The word canvas actually originates from the word "Cannabis" which is the plant that is used to produce the hemp fibers. It is stronger and lasts longer than traditional 100% cotton duck fabrics. Original Canvas is made of 54% Hemp, 14% Organic Cotton, 30% Recycled polyester with a premium Primaloft Insulation.
