VihtaVuori's N560 rifle powder is especially suitable to bring power to large and Mag calibers, for example .270 Winchester, 6,5-284, 7mm Remington Mag, 7mm Weatherby Mag and even the .416 Rigby. This rifle powder is also very good choice for hand loading the .338 Lapua Mag when using lighter bullets of 250GR or less.
The N560 powder is a tubular type with a fairly large grain with dimensions of 1,4mm length and 1,2mm diameter. The 500 series High Energy powders are mainly used in rifle cartridges where some extra energy content is needed to achieve bigger loading densities and higher muzzle velocities within the limits of maximum pressure. The N560 is commonly used for big game hunting and sniper ammunition especially for larger caliber rifles.
