A Weedless Ned Rig Using ZMans’s TRD CrawZ & Finesse BulletZ Jighead

The Ned rig has become a staple in many bass angler’s tacklboxes. Hi, I'm Glen Young, National Sales Manager with Z-Man Fishing Products here at the 2018 ICAST Show. Show you a couple cool new items that we've introduced here at the show.

The first one being the TRD CrawZ. So, all you Finesse guys out there are gonna love this little guy. It's got the big bulbous claws here which are made out of elastic. This whole thing is made out of elastic so it doesn't rip or tear, but it's 100% buoyant too, so this guy's gonna stand up on the bottom and those claws are gonna have a lot of action.

There's also a lot of detail on this with the little ribs here, these little appendages and this tail feature here. This helps it glide down instead of just dropping straight to the bottom, and it also gives the impression of the tucked under tail of a crawdad as they flee.

So, you have a lot of cool little features in that cool little craw right there and then that pairs very well with our new hook. This one is called the Finesse BulletZ. The Finesse BulletZ is designed to be a weedless Ned Rig head. So, you can, basically, Texas rig a bait just like the new TRD CrawZ right here. It has a keeper, a molded on keeper right here, so once I get this bait onto that keeper, that's not going anywhere. Then, all I have to do from there, bring my hook up through the body here and now I've got our weedless setup with the new TRD CrawZ.
