North 40 Outfitters Presents Patriot Night

What Is a North 40 Outfitters Patriot Night?

At North 40 Outfitters, we're proud to partner with local rodeos to bring a special event called Patriot Night - a night full of gratitude, celebration, and community spirit. Whether it's a small-town rodeo or a large state fair, each Patriot Night blends traditional North 40 Vlaues with local traditions to create an unforgettable experience and celebration.

You might witness a military fly-over during the National Anthem, a color guard performance, new recruits being sworn in, veterans and first responders being honored, or even local students leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Each event is a unique celebration, but all are united in their mission to show appreciation for our nation's heroes and military families.

Here in the Northwest, our North 40 communities have a long-standing sense of pride for our country. We see the red, white, and blue for the historic and hard-earned reminder that our ancestors, children, neighbors – our heroes – have made incredible sacrifices to allow us to work and play among some of the most prized land in the world. Where our freedoms allow us to strive towards the American dream, watch our families thrive in safety, and allow us to share our talents and joy in a way that only peaceful communities can do.

With that in mind, North 40 is proud to shine a spotlight on our heroes during our Patriot Night series, taking place annually in partnership with select PRCA rodeos hosted across Montana, Idaho, and Washington.

Patriot Night began in 2021 with the idea that our North 40 neighborhoods are teeming with proud Americans who remember their service men and women, first responders, and their families in a way that deserves a stage not just during the expected moments and holidays, but also during our most celebratory times. And where best to meet our proud customers than at the rodeo? With its display of fearlessness, its eagerness to cheer the champion as much as the fallen, the tradition of rodeo in the US embodies much of the same spirit that drives our American heroes in service as well as those who’ve served. Together with our North 40 family, we salute you.

As you enter the arena, you will be welcomed by friendly North 40 team members handing out collectible patriotic bandanas, scratch cards, or other keepsakes to help you join in the fun.

Inside the arena, you'll see plenty of red, white, and blue - including a 40-foot "This is God's Country" banner that helps set the stage for a powerful and emotional tribute to the United States of America. This is the land of the free, because of the brave - and they all deserve to be recognized for their sacrifice.

We're honored to help bring this night to life, and we're deeply thankful to the rodeos, fairs, and organizers who make it possible. If you can join us in the stands, we'd love to have you there as we recognize all those who serve, all those who have served, and all those we will never forget. North 40 Outfitters can't wait to celebrate with everyone who loves rodeo, the military, and this country. We'll see you there!

We at North 40 Outfitters wish to bring an appreciative, festive, meaningful, and electric experience to the many PRCA rodeos who so graciously allow us the partnership for such an event. With some Patriot Nights taking place during time-honored rural rodeos just off the beaten path, to others that join in the grand festivities of week-long state fairs, each brings a familiar North 40 hospitality that blends with our host’s local traditions and community involvement.

On any of these thrilling evenings you might be met with a gallant display of aircraft in a military fly-over to complement our nation’s Anthem, a swearing-in of fresh new recruits, a beautifully silent routine of the color guard, a rallying recognition of the veterans and first responders in the stands, a troop of elementary students reciting the pledge of allegiance, or the perfect mix of any of the above.

And before taking your seat to witness those moments, you’re often greeted at the gate by cheerful North 40 employees, maybe the local high school cheerleading team, or possibly the Ladies Auxiliary, handing you a colorful North 40 bandana or patriotic memento of the evening to bring an interactive layer to the crowd’s cheers in the stands.

Of course, the celebration isn’t complete without a 50-foot banner of red, white, and blue proudly stating “God Bless America” among a fleet of patriotic décor throughout the arena and grounds. All setting the tone for an honorable salute to some of our nation’s most treasured citizens, rounded out by a truly American performance unique to the PRCA and its hosts.

Helping bring such a night to you – our patrons and our heroes – is truly an honor, and it wouldn’t be possible without the rodeos, fairs, and their organizers who’ve established years of PRCA events across the Northwest. We appreciate all they do and the partnerships they’ve created with North 40 to welcome Patriot Night into their arenas. If you’re able to make the trip, we’re excited to welcome you into their grandstands as you join us in honoring those who protect and serve, those who remember serving, and those we will never forget.
