Hi, I'm John. I'm with Garmin, here, and North 40 Outfitters, and we're going to talk a little bit about the brand new, Garmin LiveScope Sonar.

What's new this year at ICAST 2018 here in Orlando is LiveScope. LiveScope is a sonar technology that's real-time sonar that allows you to target fish and structure on your Garmin ECHOMAP Plus series unit 7 to 9, and then all of our current GPSMAP series.

With the LiveScope, you have the ability to look at fish swimming in real time and structure. With this, I can actually shoot out up in front of the transducer up to 200 feet in front of the transducer, or in the downward position, I can actually see 200 feet below the transducer. So now I can target objects. I can see my lure on the screen in real time, see if the fish are actually attracted to that particular bait, just picking out LiveScope.

Along with LiveScope, we still have our other sonars that are really popular, and that is our CHIRP sonars: traditional CHIRP, ClearVu CHIRP, and SideVu CHIRP. So when you're wanting to locate those rock piles, brush piles, or anything like that we can use this type of sonar, mark our structure, go back to that particular area, then go back to sonar and LiveScope, and fish that in real time.

You can get this anywhere from ... It's a black box sonar called Garmin LiveScope. It's a GLS-10 with a transducer. It's trolling motor mounted or transom mounted. Retail is $1500 on it, and it can connect to any Garmin unit, from an ECHOMAP Plus series 7 to 9, all the way up to our 8600 series.
