Fly Tying Video: Spokane River Special

This caddis emerger pattern is an effective way to seek out trout in a larger body of water. This fly acts as an attractor emerger during a caddis hatch. The best way to fish this fly is by quartering it downstream and swinging it in a 2 or even 3 fly tandem rig. A twitched upstream retrieve following the swing will produce hard strikes, as it will resemble an adult diver caddis as well as the emerging adult making its way to the surface.
