10 Days of ATA #1—Are Victory Xtorsion Arrows the Strongest on The Market?

This is one of the products we selected as most impressive at the 2018 ATA Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. Victory Archery says the Xtorsion series arrows are the strongest to date, even stronger than the VAP Elite series.

The Xtorsion series arrows have 304 stainless-steel fibers woven with high-modulus carbon fiber. Compared to aluminum, stainless-steel fibers have a higher yield strength, better durability, and a high modulus of elasticity. The exterior features 90-degree woven carbon fiber which increases strength and also reduces torsional deflection. These arrows work on everything, including dangerous game. Think Africa and Alaska brown bear.

Hey, this is Adam with Victory Archery here at the 2018 ATA Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. I wanted to introduce you guys to the new shafts from Victory this year. The first one's Extortion. It's actually revolutionary. It's the first stainless steel, woven carbon shaft. I've got the cutaway of the shaft here. It's actually got layers of stainless steel mesh integrated inside a carbon. So, you can see here, it's got stainless steel, carbon, stainless steel, carbon, so on, so forth. It's 204 diameter. 11.3 grains an inch for the 300 spine. 11.3 for the 350 and then it went 10.8 for the 400 spine.

Right now, they're coming in .006 and .003 straightness. A lot of guys find that our arrows are different from other manufacturers. The .003's ... if they don't make .003 at all or lower, they're going to the next stage, which is .006. So a lot of your shafts are 4's and 5's. So you're getting best value for your money there.

These will be available mid-summer this year so check with your dealer. Another shaft we got coming out is actually the Carbon Trad. I'm excited to be in a trad shooter and the competition shooter with the compound as well, but this is kind of near and dear to me. This is actual wood. This is wood veneer infused on the carbon. So the guy wants the nostalgia of having the wood, he's got it, but he wants the tune-ability carbon, he's got it.

So these are coming in the half spine. So basically a 550, a 650, a 450. I really like that. I feel like sometimes that I'm in a 500 and I need to try to get it up to 600. I've got to weaken up. Well being in the middle right there, I have to do very little to get both ways. So, being in half spine, that really works out. Check for them at your regular local Victory dealer. Thanks!
