What Supplies Do You Need For A New Pet? A N40 Pet Adoption Kit.
Pet and animal shelters are always looking for help. Whether that be volunteering or donating, the goal of these shelters is to have those homeless animals adopted into a loving home. To help with this cause, Hill's Science Diet has implemented their program "Hill's Food, Shelter & Love" to nearly 1,000 shelters.
This program helps shelters by encouraging others to volunteer, donate, inform pet parents on proper nutrition for your pet and ultimately adopt from the shelter. Furthermore, they have been providing food to these shelter to help these animals become and remain healthy with a complete and balanced diet. We, too, at North 40 try to help out as we can. One of the ways we help out is our Pet Adoption Program.
The Pet Adoption Program at North 40 started with our Lewiston store. The members of the Lewiston store worked with their local shelter and Science Diet to provide a coupon for a bag of dog food when someone adopted a new friend. This small program was received well in their community and soon all the stores were rallying around the cause.
Since then, we have expanded our coupon to the Pet Adoption Kit. When you adopt a pet from a local shelter, you will receive a coupon that is good at any North 40 for this Pet Adoption Kit. Simply fill out the back of the coupon and bring it into North 40 for this pet starter kit.
The kit includes basic starting essentials for your new friend: a free five pound bag of food (cat or dog), a pet bowl and a couple of toys for your new pet to play with. It's a simple coupon, but we hope that this will help new pet owners and their new pets to get off to a great start.
There are plenty of furry friends just wanting to be adopted into a loving home. So go check out your local pet shelters, and when you find your new little friend, stop by your local North 40 so we can get you set up for a new start for you and your new pet.

I would love to help you out with this, so, rather than trying to mail you an adoption kit coupon (which you would normally get from a participating shelter) I will just go ahead an inform the store team that we need to have a kit ready for you next time you are in the store. Does that sound like an ok plan? If so, I am going to assume you shop at the Moses Lake store given the location of the shelter you were at. Next time you are in the store ask to talk with a manager and let them know you are there for your pet adoption kit. They will be able to take care of you from there.
