Owning a safe is easy. We offer safe financing.

My name is Andrew. I’m with Liberty Safe. We make all of our safes 100% in the US and we’re introducing some new features and benefits for the consumer this year. So, we’ve just revolutionized the safe industry again by putting out our military locking bars.

So, old-fashioned safes have always had a chrome round bolt that has just a little bit of surface area that actually touches the inside part of the door jam. What we’ve done is taken a single piece of steel, laser cut it out and it’s a full locking bar. You have five on the front, one on the top, and one on the back of this 1776 series. As you move up to bigger safes you also get bigger bars.

What this does is prevents anybody from ever prying this safe open. So, with all this surface area into one piece you can’t bend it open or pop the safe open versus the old-fashioned way was the bolt would be riveted on to a piece of angle iron and you could bend that angle iron and the actual bolts would slide away from the door frame. So, one of the most common ways people break into safes is prying them open, so our engineers always want to try to do things to prevent your valuables from being stolen.

So, brand new every safe that we make will have military locking bars on them now and it’s a really great safe, 60-minute fire rating.
