Counter Assault® 8.1 oz. Bear Spray has 7 seconds of spray time and a 30-foot spray distance. With 2% capsaicin and related capsaicinoids you will be carrying the hottest bear spray allowed by the EPA. Counter Assault bear spray works on all species of bears to deter bears from attacking humans. Every cannister is leak tested during manufacturing and has a 4-year shelf life. Each cannister has a glow in the dark safety wedge with tie string. Counter Assault bear spray is produced by grizzly bear encounter survivor Pride Johnson, President and Chemist for Counter Assault. Our bear spray was developed in conjunction with the University of Montana so when you are in bear country, you will want "Grizzly Tough" bear spray.
