Down To Earth's Shrimp Meal 6-6-0 is an excellent all-purpose fertilizer rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and calcium. It is wonderful for use on all types of garden vegetables, flowers and herbs. A valuable by product of the fresh Pacific shrimp processing industry, finely ground DTE Shrimp Meal 6-6-0 will break down rapidly in the soil to promote vigorous plant growth and development. Enriches new garden soils and compost piles for all types of gardens.

To prepare new gardens, apply 2 lb per 100 sq. ft. and thoroughly mix into the top 3" of soil. For new transplants, add 1-2 tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress 2-4 oz, once each month during the growing season depending on plant size and desired growth rate.

Spread 1-2 lb per 1" of trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mix into soil surface and water in well. For new trees, prepare transplant hole and mix 1-2 cups with the backfill soil. Use amended soil to fill in around the new tree and water in well.

Apply 500-1,000 lb per acre depending on specific crop needs or required pounds of actual nutrients per acre.

For new plantings, add 1-2 tbsp per gal of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 10 lb per cu. yd. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tbsp per gal into the soil surface once each month during the growing season.
