No cosmetic or operational alterations are made to the the original function of electric start and manual choke, but you will have the added convenience of being able to remotly control your EU3000is Honda generator. Special tools and hardware are provided for install with minimal wiring requirements. Connections are made to the back of the ignition switch which can be removed during installation procedure. It is not required to start the EU series with eco-throttle "off". Honda recommends "off" only to allow the generator to warm up quicker. The generator will start with eco-throttle in either the "on" or "off" position.
