Patagonia Men's Torrentshell 3-Layer Jacket is a simple and unpretentious, trusted Torrentshell 3L Jacket uses 3-layer H2No Performance Standard technology for exceptional waterproof/breathable performance, all-day comfort and long-lasting waterproof durability.

The 3-layer jacket has a 100% recycled nylon face fabric, a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, a tricot backer for next-to-skin comfort and self-stuffs into left-hand pocket (with a carabiner clip-in loop). An adjustable hood with laminated visor can easily roll up and stow with a simplified cord-and-hook design. The center front zipper has interior and exterior storm flaps; pit zips and hand warmer pockets all have storm flaps and DWR-treated zippers. With a microfleece-lined neck, self-fabric hook-and-loop cuff closures and a drawcord hem.

Weatherproof

• 4-Layer fabric construction for waders in order to increase breathability, move moisture away from the body, increase abrasion resistance and decrease the weight of the fabric
• Exterior fabrics are all 100% polyester microfibers that are densely woven for durability and puncture resistance. On one side of this face fabric apply H2No waterproof coating for superb waterproof/breathable performance. On the other side apply a Hydrophilic laminate. Hydrophilic means water loving and this layer pulls moisture away from the person wearing the waders so it can be passed out through the coating and exterior shell. To protect the hydrophilic laminate apply a soft polyester tricot lining (this is the lining you feel inside the wader)
• New tricot lining is the key to the fabric's performance. It's 27% lighter than previous fabric package with a 42% increase in abrasion resistance. Were also maintained a soft, supple drape to the fabric which is critical to how well the waders move with your body. 4-Layer waders are extremely comfortable
• DWR (durable water repellent) treatment on the exterior face fabric. This is one of most important innovations in wader technology. Tested all DWR's available and ultimately chose to apply NanoSphere DWR as the first line of defence in keeping these waders waterproof
