10 Days of ATA #9—PSE’s New Carbon Air Stealth Bow Is Blazing Fast and Super Lightweight

Great New Archery Products for 2018: PSE Carbon Air Stealth

The Carbon Air Stealth is touted as the most advanced carbon bow ever produced. And there’s no doubt it’s a great hunting bow—it weighs just 3.2 pounds, shoots an arrow at 342 feet per second, and allows 90 percent let-off. But, when we shot it at the ATA Show in Indianapolis, Indiana, we didn’t think it was as smooth as Hoyt’s Carbon RX-1, nor did we see it shoot as well. But it is lightweight and we believe it’s a really good bow that any hunter would be happy with. And it comes in a little less expensive than the Carbon RX-1. Cost:$1,500

I'm Bobby Vargas here with PSE Archery; we're at the 2018 ATA Show and I'm here with North 40 Outfitters. Today we want to talk to you guys about the PSE Carbon Stealth for 2018. We learned a lot about the Carbon we introduced a couple years ago, hugely successful, and we built a brand-new platform this year.

The original Carbon Air Bow was 32" axle-to-axle and everybody really wanted that slightly longer axle-to-axle geometry so now we've got a 33" by six and a half inch axle-to-axle model. Shooting speeds up to 342 feet per second with our high Let-Off ECS Cam, that's at 90%. And, this is hugely adjustable, rotating inner cam module, six inches of draw length adjustment in half-inch increments, tons of let-off adjustment, too.

It'll ship with the high let-off module, you'll get 80, 85, and 90%. You could put a low let-off module on there, you'd get 75, 70, and 65%. So, whether it's a specific let-off you want or specific holding weight you want, you can get it with our ECS Cam system. This one falls into our Evolve line, so if you want to learn more about it, get to your retailer and have them order one in and check it out.
