At this year’s ATA 2019 show, we spent a lot of time scouring the show in search of something that is actually new. In no particular order, here are our best of show choices:

Mystery Ranch Sawtooth 45 and Beartooth 80 Packs

Mystery Ranch has once again stepped up their game with a new Guide Lite MT Frame on their new line of packs.  The Guide Lite MT frame features a 5-piece segmented belt with higher cushioning than their traditional frame.  The segmented belt gives the hiker/hunter more comfort, especially when carrying a heavy load.

Muzzy One Broadhead

The new Muzzy One Broadhead is a single piece stainless steel broadhead.  This broadhead will be a direct competitor with the Montec G5.  The One Broadhead features a 3-blade design, has a cutting radius of 1-1/8 inch, and comes in both 100 grain and 125 grain.  This broadhead also features a hybrid chisel/cut on contact tip that allows for maximum penetration and bone cutting power.  This broadhead is bad to the bone.

Ripcord LOK

The Ripcord LOK is a limb driven rest that features Ripcord’s known arrow containment system.  Simply flip the rest up to get 100% arrow containment even when the bow is not drawn back.  This rest features a precision ball bearing drive that offers smooth operation for unmatched accuracy and durability.  The click-micro adjust allows the shooter to move the rest with minute precision increments.  Each click gives you .003 inches of adjustment.  Finally, this rest features a teardrop cord clamp for quick setting of proper cord tension.

Badlands Vario

The Badland Vario pack is a modular pack frame system that is designed to compete with the big bows in the pack industry.  The pack frame itself can haul out a load of meat and your pack at the same time.  Simply pull the pack off the frame, add meat, and tighten down the pack to the frame.  With countless pack/frame/accessory combinations, this pack can be specialized for anyone and anything.  With the pack, there are three options for gear hauling they are; a day pack, a 33L pack, and a 50L pack.  This pack can be used for day hunts or living out of while you travel the backcountry.

Gold Tip Airstrike

Gold tip has come out with a new shaft called the Airstrike.  The Airstrike features Gold Tips Slick Shield technology for better penetration and arrow removal from targets.  This Slick Shield technology along with a small diameter will help any archer improve the accuracy while making shooting and pulling arrows much easier.  It comes in all the typical sizes and it is extremely durable.

Easton T64 FMJ

The new Easton T64 Full Metal Jacket features a tapered design that is larger at the tip.  This allows for a much better FOC since it is built into the arrow.  Shooters can expect greater accuracy, penetration, and improved flight over any arrow ever made from Easton.  This carbon/aluminum hybrid arrow is one of the toughest arrows in the market.

Burris Oracle Bow Sight

Probably one of the coolest things at the show this year is the new bow sight from Burris.  The Oracle is digital sight that eliminates guessing of distances.  The built-in rangefinder gives you the range and lights up the pin that the shooter needs put on the target.  Featuring a push activated button, the archer can range multiple times at multiple targets while at full draw.  The all-aluminum construction makes this sight lightweight and durable.  Coming in at a retail price of $799.95, this sight will answer all of your problems.

Vortex Fury HD 5000

The new rangefinding binocular from Vortex is the Fury HD 5000.  It is named this because it will range out to 5,000 yards, off of a reflective target.  The optimized display layout eliminates obstructed views with glassing.  The new last mode displays the furthest distance when ranging, panning, or scanning ideal for ranging targets behind potential foreground obstructions.  This binocular is for the serious long-range hunter and shooter.
