How hard is it to clean a pellet grill? These things are very easy to clean and maintain. The pellets burn down to a very fine ash. Leftover ash can be vacuumed out with a shop vac a couple times a year, depending on how much you use your grill. Most grills have a collection cup that gathers most of the ash and can be emptied without taking the grill apart.

Next, any grease that drips into your grill will land on the drip tray and funnel into your grease bucket. And finally, a pro tip. It is recommended that you cover your drip tray and your heat shield with aluminum foil. This speeds up the cleaning process immensely.
