No chains. No straps. No cable tows. And, no snapping. Using kinetic energy, the Ditch Pig can stretch the momentum that gets put into the pull end of the rope. This allows for a much safer way to pull out a distressed vehicle. With the Ditch Pig Recovery Rope, you can pull and go. Watch the video below to learn more.

Good morning, my name's Bob Christiansen with TSSI. We are the rep company that handles MIBRO for Mid-States here. What we're going to show today is the MIBRO ditch pig kinetic energy recovery rope.

This is a new concept in vehicle recovery systems. You're probably used to seeing chain tows and strap tows and cable tows. One of the inherent issues with those types of vehicle recovery systems is the danger of them eventually snapping, either the whipping effect of them breaking and hitting somebody or pulling cars apart. The way those work is you have to have a slow tension to get the tension and then you pull the car.

What we're going to tell you about today with this is, this is the exact opposite concept. This is like I said, is a kinetic recovery rope. You take this one end and you hook it up to your distressed vehicle and the other end into the vehicle that's going to be doing the pulling.

You leave it slack. Then the vehicle that's doing the pulling is going to hit the gas. It's going to extend this. This has an ability to stretch. What that does is it takes the energy from the moving vehicle, sends it down the line, that's the kinetic energy part of it, transfers it to the stuck vehicle and all that momentum gets put into the pull end and is able to yank a car out much easier and much safer.

Should it even break, which it never does, but should it, it's a release. There's no snapping effect. There's no danger to it.

You've got different sizes that will do small sizes from UTV's to cars. We've got truck sizes, large trucks. We even have really large ones that can pull a semi-truck out of a ditch.

That's your kinetic energy recovery rope.
