New take on Sporting Goods in Mead

North 40 Outfitters of Mead North 40 Outfitters of Mead

1.) The area our Mead location is in offers a wide range of outdoor activities literally within minutes of our doors. From turkey hunting in the spring to ice fishing in the winter and everything in between. If it is something related to hunting, fishing, shooting, or any other activity you do outside, we're only minutes away from the action.

2.) I want our customers to know that while we offer a wide range of products, we also have a very knowledgeable staff behind the counter ready to assist with any questions or concerns related to hunting, fishing, shooting, etc. We also offer a full service archery shop, mounting and bore sighting rifle scopes, and we wind fishing line on reels. We really are a one stop shop.

3.) One product line that continues to surprise me is Vortex Optics. They have an unmatched warranty and offer a phenomenal product at an incredible price. I own several different items they manufacture and absolutely love them.

4.) Although Spokane is considered a relatively large city, we were very limited in our options for outdoor retail, especially the further north you went. Including the sporting goods department in our store will save a lot of our customers the inconvenience of having to drive into Idaho before finding a store with the product and knowledge we now offer in Mead.

5.) Our customers can expect a level of service that goes beyond simply pointing them in the direction of things to buy. Every one of our employees spends time pursuing passions outside of work that relate directly to what we're selling. That passion outside the store transfers easily to our interactions with our customer base. The knowledge, friendly service, and our attention to detail is unmatched in our city and I truly believe that shows when we help our customers.

6.) I can't recall one particular experience that got me involved in the outdoors. It's always been a part of who I am. I grew up with a dad who, as a means to help feed his family, hunted and fished. His passion for the outdoors was passed onto me as soon as I was born. I have photos of me in diapers on hikes and camping out in the Blue Mountains here in Washington. My passion for what I do has only grown over the years, but it is certainly thanks to my dad and his continued support and teachings.
